Festival selection success for Time and Tide trilogy
We’re delighted to announce that Time and Tide, our short film trilogy starring Greta Scacchi, John Locke and Samuel West, has started to appear at film festivals around the world.
Earlier this month, the film was nominated for a Best Spoken Work Poetry Performance Award at the Raleigh Film and Arts Festival, an exploration of the arts featuring a mixture of live and virtual environments, taking place at the NC State University Centennial Campus, Raleigh, NC, US.
Up next is a screening at the 72nd Montecatini International Short Film Festival, which is held from 23rd-28th October 2021 at Montecatini Terme, Italy. As one of the most representative Italian film festivals, filmmakers from more than 70 countries are participating, with noteable locations for screenings including The Historical Hall of the Excelsior and Tettuccio Spa.
Time and Tide is a finalist up for awards in the short drama category at the London Rocks International Festival, taking place from 5th-6th November at Whirled Cinema, London. The festival was established out of a need for a platform for filmmakers to show bold, innovative and authentic films, created within the city of London and internationally. Our film is showing at 11pm on 5th November in the session ‘After Hours Drama & Dark Comedy’ – tickets are available here.
We’ve been selected to be shown in competition at the Monologues & Poetry International Film Festival, which highlights individual talent and creativity through monologues, soliloquies, and spoken-word. Although based in Vallejo, California the festival is taking place online this year due to ongoing covid safery concerns. Our session is held on 20th November – find out about all the films being screened here
Then, later in November, we’re off to Berlin, where Time and Tide will screen in competition at the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival at the Urania Institute. ZEBRA is the first and largest international platform for short films based on poetry, offering poets, film and festival makers from all over the world a platform for creative exchange and the chance to connect with a broad audience. Time and Tide will be shown at 10.30pm on 27th November.
We’ve just heard that we’ve been invited to screen at the upcoming East European International Film Festival in Warsaw from 11th-18th December – details on this, and more, to follow!
