From Home Survey now online
The From Home survey is now up online here. Your responses will feature at the next Brighton Digital Festival and beyond, as well as forming part of Tom Ottway’s final PhD piece on home. Share your experiences whether they are happy or sad, and be a part of making history for future generations. The more responses we get, the more accurate and diverse the Story of Home will be. Answers to the survey are anonymous, unless you’d like to tell us more about your experiences, in which case you can contact us at the email below. You can find more information about the survey and how it will help shape the project on the homepage.
There are other ways to get involved. We collected videos from all over the world during the lockdowns in 2020, but given the delays to the Festival, there’s still time to submit something. This could be a piece you made during lockdown, or an entirely new take on the idea of home. Read the original call out here. We’re also asking artists and makers to send us: a photo of a piece of art that was created at home this year during the time of lockdown, OR a photo of a piece of art related to the idea of home. Find out more about the call for art here.
Finally, if you’d like to discuss your thoughts about the idea of home – either in general, or related to the lockdown experiences of 2020 and 2021 – drop us a line at fromhome@movingpicturestheatre.com
